Dara is an accomplished ICF-certified and credentialed professional transformational coach. With over 30 years of experience, she has worked in many industries in the private, public and non-profit sectors.
Anticipate a warmhearted, collaborative, empowering experience using the latest techniques (from positive psychology, neuroscience, coaching, mindfulness, parts work, passion and vision, strengths and values exploration, and non-violent communication) to transform the way her clients live and work.
Dara combines her personal experiences and extensive training to fulfill her passion of supporting as many individuals and organizations transform through transitions and live their best lives. She has collaborated with many incredible individuals who have transformed their leadership style, created extraordinary teams, fulfilled dreams, and recognized their own inner strengths and purpose.
She provides strategic consultation around aligning culture to values and creating a diverse and inclusive environment; she was instrumental in numerous aspects of the creation of a vocational training and employment center to support individuals with special needs. Dara thrives on handling complicated and sensitive situations and has the ability to connect with every level of an organization.
Dara received her BA from Brandeis University in Psychology and her Coaching Certification from Leadership That Works. She is a certified Grief Educator through David Kessler and Grief.com. She gives back to the community by volunteering as a facilitator of Northwell Health’s bereavement groups and is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
When she isn’t working to improve her clients’ lives, Dara has a desire to live each day as if it’s her last. She loves the simple pleasures of life… going on walks, exploring towns, going to shows and museums, playing games, meditating and most importantly spending quality time with family and friends.
